2017 Sprint 2 Stand Up 7

What a difference a week can make. Last week's triage paid off and we have made great strides thanks to the focus provided by our triage work. We are back on path toward completing a highly successful sprint.

    • DEV-23: Test Nodejs then Johnny-Five in chiptainer enviroment to determine if we want to use chiptainer approach - resolved block (we are going with CHIP Pro + Python) and completed tests (and a lot more, see testing thread and the completed PBIs below)
    • DEV-26: Determine wiring to power CHIP Pro from Feather - done
    • DEV-27: Determine wiring to provide I2C between CHIP Pro and Feather - done
    • DEV-28: Develop Feather code to be I2C slave
    • DEV-29: Develop Johnny-Five code for CHIP Pro to be I2C master - done
    • DEV-30: Test master to slave and slave to master events between Feather and CHIP Pro - done
    • DEV-25: Update Fritzing docs to migrate from CHIP to CHIP Pro (EagleCad?) - worked with Bryan to start documenting v0.4 design in Circuit Maker
    • Started working on updated architecture documentation (e.g. block diagrams)

    • Continue working on updated architecture documentation
    • Start working on Docker images for Holoseat (release and dev)

    • DEV-07: Test Keyboard USB HID over Arduino - looked over things a little, but going to postpone more work while we are wrapping up work that uses Feather since that is working
    • DEV-25: Update Fritzing docs to migrate from CHIP to CHIP Pro (EagleCad?) - started looking at the work done with J over the weekend and tutorials so he can update the rough schematics

    • DEV-25: Update Fritzing docs to migrate from CHIP to CHIP Pro (EagleCad?) - going to try and get it done
    • Send out email to potential volunteers about helping with Python development on Holoseat
    • Start developing v0.4 prototype Bill of Materials
