Open Design Engine

I was on a phone call about Mach 30 the other day and got pointed at Quirky. It's a social product development platform. They have some interesting material on tracking user participation, and on the product development cycle. Open Source Hardware could probably learn a lot from what they are doing. I think this is worth further reading.
