V0.2 Description¶

Prototype 2 - This version of the Ground Sphere will be the first kit prototype. It should address all design considerations for kits suitable for shipping the SkyCube KickStarter backers. These considerations include:

• Simplicity of build - assembly should require only simple tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, etc
• Simplicity of operation - the operational ground station should require as few connections as possible to setup, and the software configuration should require minimum setup
• Robust design - the ground station hardware should minimize the opportunity for mechanical failures (from things such as broken connectors, or a lack of strain relief)
