See http://www.redmine.org/projects/redmine/wiki/HowTo_Automate_repository_creation for instructions. It would be best if the configuration could be packaged with the distribution (at least for installation in Bitnami hosts).

First pass at testing on demo box complete. Next step is to document in wiki using clean test server. If that works well, will implement on live server (after a backup of course).

The process has been documented in the Installation Instructions, and tested on a clean VM. Should be ready to put onto live server in the next 24 hours.

Configuration changes complete, per Installation Instructions. To use, simply create a project and activate the Repository module. Within two minutes the repository will be created at http://opendesignengine.net/svn/(project_name).
