Please comment below on the 5 requirements from Choosing the technology branch for the v 1.0 roadmap regarding projects related to launch vehicle Electrical Power. Feel free to brain storm potential projects related to this subsystem, evaluate any or all requirements, or otherwise comment on the suitability of this subsystem for the v 1.0 roadmap. Note, the end result should be group consensus on requirements score and any notes to include on the evaluation page in the wiki.

Per our discussion at the last #EngineerSpeak hangout, I am going to start with just commentary on engineering expertise.

This is a field that will revolve around electrical engineering (batteries, solar cells, power conversion, power monitoring, etc), and my understanding is that we are pretty heavily weighted toward mechanical and systems (Aaron has a EE background iirc). So, I would call this a 1-2 in terms of current engineering expertise. If there are other EEs hiding in our active community, please speak up and I would be happy to revise my score.
