PVC Coupler

I wasn't able to find a 2" long, 3/4" schedule 40 coupler at Lowes. Where did you say you got yours again Aaron?

The deep well PVC coupler I used originally came from Lowes, but it was apparently an oddball part.

Use a standard coupler (about 1 1/2" long), drill the holes in the exact mid point (where the stop is inside). Mounting the lugs with the terminal end up yields almost the precise distance between the antenna loops and the ground plane you need.

Thanks Aaron.

The two lengths of PVC pipe are 1-1/4 inches, is that correct?

I use one that is a touch shy of 1 1/2" to connect the base to the coupler, while the one I use to put the end cap on top is 1 1/4" to leave room for the bolts and connectors.
