Having trouble getting SDR to work on my Win7 64 bit computer
Added by J. Simmons over 9 years ago
So, I tried to run through the Software Installation on my computer and something didn't work. When I first plugged in the SDR dongle, it looks like Windows installed a driver for it automatically. When I went to run the zadig installer, if gave me the opportunity to replace (not install) the driver. Take a look.
In the interest of following the instructions as best as possible, I proceeded to replace the driver and it appeared to run without error. However, when I tried to run SeeDeR, I got the critical error: "No SDRIO device found". So, I'm guessing the driver did not install correctly. Any thoughts?
I plan to try to uninstall the device completely and try again and see if that helps. Would welcome other suggestions.

So, I went in and uninstalled the driver for Bulk-in Interface 0 (making sure to select the check box to delete the driver). I then removed and reinserted the USB Dongle and Windows did indeed install a driver as can be seen from the screen shot below.

Status - RESOLVED
After much uninstalling and reinstalling, I finally got the drivers to work with SeeDeR. I have updated the installation instructions to address the troubleshooting steps I took.
