Hi,
I created a project for testing purposes and I want to delete it. How can I do that?
Thanks,
P.

Philippe,

Thanks for posting to the support forums. It turns out, deleting projects in Redmine (the core software ODE is based on) is an admin level function. After doing some research into other project hosting sites, I believe having project removal require admin intervention may be a "good thing". SourceForge's policy makes a good case for keeping projects around except in extenuating circumstances, so I don't think we will want to implement user controlled project deletion as a new feature.

That being said, I appreciate wanting to kick the tires on the site by setting up a test project. So, I would be happy to remove that project for you. Is the basbrun1 project the one you want to have deleted?

Hi,
Thanks for the quick reply! Yes, please, delete it from my profile ... next step will be to create a "real" project. :)
By the way, is it safe to create a project now? Is it beter to wait for the official release of the site?
Thanks for your support,
P.

It's my pleasure. I will go delete that project right now. In terms of using the site, it should be plenty stable, we are just holding off on the public release until we get on our long term server to minimize downtime after the public release. In fact, Mach 30 is running one project on ODE right now, and will be starting another one in a week or two.
